Short handed, eh? Are they also vulgarians? I ‘d alert Spy magazine, but they’ve gone out of business.

Those four missing players remind me of Branch Rickey’s retort when Ralph Kiner wanted a raise: We finished last with you, we can do it without you.

P1, No wonder they’re losing it looks like Gil had to resort to playing a midget just to get through the game now that he’s benched most of the team.

    P2, Just not this year.

P3, Gil’s having an acid flashback from his glory days?

P1- GilPa decides to stymy the feared Oakwood 3 pointer attack by erasing the 3 point arc.

P2- Terry Bradshaw indeed t-car. Where is former Magnum P.I., now Ming the Merciless look a like Tod Andrews?

P3- Former metrosexual combo guard Lini Verdi shows up after completing his European studies abroad.

P1 – So Milford can’t beat anyone with a full team, suddenly they’re super competitive with most of their starters benched.

P2 – Dick Cheney was my first thought, although yeah, closer to Terry Bradshaw. Actually if you told me it was a statue of either of them I’d believe it. But wow, what a condescending statement to State Champion Gil Thorp! I imagine in P2.5 we see the two on the ground and Gil’s got the guy in a headlock.

P3 – A former student drops by who knows the background behind Bobby’s smear campaign.

P2- That is former assistant VP of Yankees and George Costanza’s boss Matt Wilhelm, he must have busted out of the Sunshine Carpet Cleaners cult.

P3- That’s Big Ken Brown, making things happen with an identity change!

At first glance, I thought the not-so-mysterious visitor was asking, “Hey coach— need me to shut up?”

To which the obvious answer would be “Yes.”

Hey, that’s my primo that scored the bucket—still getting up off the floor! Milford needs to run the five-out spread offense like Milwaukee and let Jorge run it like Giannis!

I always wondered how the crowd at Gettysburg must have squirmed when listening to Edward Everetts’ two hour introductory speech. That Lincoln was able to encompass the purpose, dedication and goal of the conflict in under two minutes is evidence of his genius. I researched the Everett sermon and have yet to read two identical versions. The poor reporters, using shorthand, were simply overwhelmed and exhausted when recording his marathon speech. Abe truly understood his audience and, by clearly framing the countrys’ origins, struggles and goals in clear language, created a timeless statement.
