Satchel is totally woke when it comes to animal rights. Bucky is more like “Eh, depends on the animal.”

He eats, therefore he is.

Okay, I have to admit that for once Bucky said something intelligent.

Not to get a whole controversy going… but the thing that gets me about animal rights is that folks are so up-in arms… while the animals themselves are killing and eating each other every day in really nasty ways. I am all for humane treatment of animals… but that doesn’t mean they ain’t meat. I am a dragon, and that’s my viewpoint. Sorry if that offends, but I likes my BLT’s and the occasional leg of lamb… and I’ve been known to actually wear leather shoes. That’s just the way the reality of nature.

For those of you that don’t know, this is a reference to a launch party Sony held for God of War back around 2007. It involved not only a dead goat, but also several topless women feeding grapes to guests.

Bucky’s discernment in the final panel is right on target.
