Last week at this “time,” the US government mandated setting clocks ahead i.e. Daylight Saving Time. Effectively putting many states back into darkness to start each day. A blatant example of what morons do best.

Time travel isn’t worth the hassle. You travel back in time to use your current knowledge to buy stocks and bet on sports events only to discover that your money is too new, so you come back to the present to get some of the money of that time only to discover that buying it will cost you more than the profit you’ll make on the stocks and bets. So then you decide to travel forward in time to find out what stocks are going to go up and who’s going to win what sporting event, and maybe get some future technology that will make you a mint when you “invent” it, only to find yourself in an alternate reality where the Dodgers never left Brooklyn and all the tech is made with Unobtainium.

@beviek, you should just get a list of all the quotes you got from this. Now you’d have…what, three hundred?

Blackworth, Yes! I love Al Stewart! One of my favorite songwriters…It’s like he’s the James Michener of song writers, very complex historical stories…And his meter and rhyme are impeccable and darn near incredible……Of course my favorite line is the one that caught my attention when I heard it on the radio….“She comes out of the sun in a silk dress, runnin’ like a water color in the rain…….” Even back then I was playing around with words, so I knew he was not the normal radio dude… I recommend the songs Bed Sitter Images, In Brooklyn, Angola and Post World War Two Blues, but all of his stuff is the best…Nobody writes like him….

Time is relative, but it’s not your relative. If anyone in the future ever developed time travel, we would have heard about it by now, it would have made history automatically! Might be able to stop time, but you would become unfortunately infinitely massive and no amount of dieting and exercise could fix it.
