Gasoline Alley, 51 years ago today:
There must be so many escapes from this crackerbox prison that the guard can’t even remember who he’s supposed to be on the lookout for.
For anyone who missed it yesterday: We have created a group on Facebook for fans of the classic “Gasoline Alley.” Not intended to replace our daily gatherings on this site, but just an alternative option in case this strip is ever discontinued by GoComics and also a place to post additional items/information. Submit a request to join and we’ll get you approved and “in the alley” as quickly as possible. Look for “Alley Cats of Gasoline Alley” or try this link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/749970695820441/
The black-and-white version of today’s strip is quite good . .

The guard/cop asks who that is.
