Gasoline Alley, 51 years ago today:
Maybe it’s not quite ‘Slumberland’, and maybe it’s not quite the ‘Dream of a Rarebit Fiend’… but yesterday would have been Winsor McCay’s 151st birthday. Certainly close enough to call it a nice little tribute to a cartooning pioneer by Jim, heh.
I’m surprised that he hasn’t eaten those comics.
Unca, if it weren’t for you posting from the Good Old Days of Gasoline Alley, I would most likely drop this comic from my preferred list. (Scancarelli, are you listening??)
Slim dreams he is the Towel, who happens upon a sleeping…Slim?
This arc has been so incoherent, it’s almost as if Walt Wallet had scripted it.
Noticed some vintage comic book titles like Panic and Tom Mix. There was even once a Gasoline Alley comic book too?
