“Slip Mahoney”-isms.
FUN FACT: There used to be a “Slip Mahoney’s” Tavern at La Guardia airport.
Leo Gorcey’s birthday was yesterday.
Of course, they’re usual called “malapropisms” from a character in a play called “The Rivals.” Or Dogberryisms from a character in Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. Or Archie Bunker-isms.
But Slip Mahoney-isms is good, too.
should have borrowed a little yellow ? from Fusco Bros to put over Joel’s pipe
I enjoy the artwork in the scenes in the junkyard and when Joel and Rufus walk in town. Railroad scenes are especially nice.
