“…a job washin’ windows in a skyscraper downtown…”???! That’s a funny enough premise for these two, even without the “captain” jokes!
Several logistical problems. I don’t think that a hot air balloon will just automatically float over to the skyscraper. If launched from the base of the skyscraper, it must be tethered to hold it in place. Even if the balloon is touching the building, the passenger basket is under the center of the balloon, & nowhere close to any window, unless you had a really long pole.
One way or another, you got that right, Gweedo! There must be some way they’ve survived rickety bridges, etc. after all this time! (Especially being two of the GA characters that don’t age!)
At least they’ll avoid the danger of being perched on a scaffold.
Some tells me in this story arc that there’s going to be a rift between those two.
Has anyone noticed..they got a job washing windows in a skyscraper? .I want to see how they will get the balloon in each floor.
So wonderful! This will be very good!!!!!
Joel is of course more deserving of being Captain. His is the wisest fellow in all of Gasoline Alley!
