People that promote AI never watched the Terminator. Complete automation is not a wise thing to do.

no need to carry those weapons, they should be built-in

And if the child screams out, they won’t listen. AI, does not, cannot and will not care a bit for you. Only thing AI cares about is its instructions, programming coding what ever you want to call it, if you see a person a sleep behind a wheel of a self driving tesla get off the road then call it in.

Poor Gary .. can’t think beyond comic books . . .

So THAT’S why we need AR-15 assault style weapons?

Only one thing is certain, when mankind ends it will be our own fault. Maybe it will be by developing AI…maybe not. But we will destroy ourselves.

AI has it’s limited uses, as per the programming for its use. This toon is a bit far fetched. However, like any technology, expect bad actors to try and use it against us for personal gain.

A.I. has already been taught to hate humans.

Ira Levin’s novel “This Perfect Day” (published in 1970) describes a dystopian world controlled by AI. Of course, as is the case in any totalitarian society, there are the privileged who live apart from the great mass of people who are controlled by AI.
