Yes, it’s nice to have intelligent, competent, honest and decent human beings in charge again.

There’s no point nor humor in today’s Varvel effort. And he has conveniently forgotten the times when the Dumpster would say something to the effect of “I take no responsibility for that” (probably even more often than he claimed credit for something.)

Biden’s decision to assign V.P. Harris to the border crisis may turn out to be a successful move; time will tell. He certainly has plenty of other issues on his plate to worry about.

Unhappy that Biden assigns Harris to head up the immigration problem, but had no problem when Trump assigned Pence the pandemic response…

I enjoyed his presser. An hour or so of (mostly) coherent adult speech, sometimes w/ a bit too much detail. Not even one self congratulatory use of the first person pronoun, though he did use “we” pretty often. Even some humor, one instance of which seemed planned, one which did not. And when the answer was “Yes”, he said “Yes.” and moved on. Not quite up to the standards of Obama, imo, but I didn’t hire him to hold pressers at all, so ¯\/¯.

But to the point: He absolutely did NOT dodge (most) of the issues raised, and when he did, he acknowledged that he was dodging… and why (because you cannot do all things at the same moment, so priorities come into play… and once, because he wasn’t willing to give adversaries ammo in advance of his move, which is implied but didn’t say out loud). And though he clearly thinks Harris is very good, and has handed her some tasks, he also is very clearly in charge

But I’ll bet serious money that Varvel or one of his kin will pounce on the time he mumbled to a stop. Just you watch!

Varvel seems to have conveniently forgotten the “bush-CHENEY” presidency.

Captain Pike is lost in what’s left of the oatmeal in between his ears. It’s just pathetic he has been put in this situation.

Fortunately, she is quite capable of carrying out her assignments and we’re lucky to have two competent and hardworking people to start repairing the damage the last administration DELIBERATELY left.

Despite the fact that there is zero evidence that Vice-President Harris is running anything, except what President Biden sees fit to delegate to her.

Looks like Garvel is just having too many buttons pushed to remain semi-coherent — there’s a Democrat back in the White House, the Veep is a woman, and a “darkie” at that, she’s married to a Jew, and isn’t subservient to him.

Actually, when I voted for Biden it was with the knowledge that he wasn’t going to be able to manage two terms, quite possibly wouldn’t make it through the first, and I totally loved the idea of Harris as President. Good idea to let her show how good she is before she takes the reins totally.

The Biden-Harris ticket resulted in instant RWNJ meme creation: a) JB is not the ACTUAL lib candidate, and will be Prez in name only; b) the ACTUAL lib candidate is KH, a [gasp] woman, who will become the ACTUAL prez 1/20/2021; c) the ACTUAL prez — KH — will not only be a [gasp] woman, but a WOMAN OF COLOR, an individual from two groups not even empowered by the founding document to VOTE, let alone HOLD OFFICE; so d) even though the Federalist Society is not saying this out loud as of yet, they are motivated by the “originalist” conviction that the ACTUAL head of US government as of 1/20/2021 is UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Which accounts for Varvel and the rest of the RWNJ toon drawing communities shit-their-pants KH-themed political cartoons.

I see some unintentional truth in this cartoon:

    1) Biden is doing his best to make sure “the buck” stops in the White House and is not tossed into a dumpster for burial. And so far, “his best” looks pretty good to me.

    2) Harris, as Vice President, is playing an active role as a member of the Executive branch of the government, rather than simply being a placeholder because the Constitution requires that someone be designated “Vice President”.

The Dems for the first time in American history have elected a puppet president. A man suffering from dementia who will not run for a second term and likely will not finish out his first. That leaves Harris who couldn’t muster any support in the primaries and was the first of the Dem pack to drop out in the wings unready to step into the most powerful office in the world. Biden’s performance has been a disaster so far and America is already suffering for it. Harris will do no better and considering her past performance could arguably be worse.

Gary, why so hard up for a topic? You want Biden to fail sooo bad! You’re pining for the days of incompetent nonsense from “the former guy” Poor Gary. Trump conned you Gary, that’s the truth, something you are unfamiliar with.
