Reverse the animals and it would be correct. Dems have had relif bill ready for months. Obstructionist mitch has large pile of things needing action.

I was wondering what asininity Varvel would be up to today. And lo: He has EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS !

Seriously? He is claiming the Democrats are stopping the bill? Really‽‽ In fact, it appears very clear that neither side is working well with the other (no surprise), but Mitch had already promised to stop anything that wasn’t “pure Republican” and then when it began to look like he’d be called on it, he shut the Senate down for their usual fall campaign season.

The republicans wanted to eliminate all parts of what the Democrats offered that would actually give "relief to those who need it.

Moscow Mitch callously put forth a bill that he knew was DOA just so he could blame the Democrats for not supporting relief. This is politics at its absolute worst.

Ah, Varvel thinks a bill labeled as X relief is really for x relief. Another indication of his early-onset dementia.

I think the picture you meant to draw was a tiny Republican wagon with a few pennies for the masses and a large truck with cash for corporate interests. The donkeys want to reverse that.

You got the vehicle wrong. It’s not an ambulance, it’s a clown car.

GV has got his metaphors all wrong. The Senate Covid 19 relief bill is best symbolized by a stripped down hearse and the Dem donkeys are blocking its path with a fully outfitted ambulance.

On Sep. 6, 2020, the Corona virus relief bill introduced by the Republican from Kentucky, includes provisions to speed up certification for mineral mining and would also fund research into extracting rare earth metals from coal. Oink, Oink!

hahahaha — so, let’s see: Democrats have passed how many relief bills, which’ve sat how endlessly long on Republican desks, untouched?

Again, Varvel gets it backwards. The Democrats rolled out the rescue trucks, which the Republicans torched, then the Republicans rolled out a unicycle with a jugging clown tossing Bounty paper towels, which the democrats ridiculed.

Oh, you’re going to blame the Republicans’ failure to offer or support any meaningful solutions to the crisis on Democrats ?

Replace the ambulance with an office first aid kit that hasn’t been replenished for a year & this is accurate. The GOP bill was useless.

The version of the Covid Relief bill offered up by the Republicans would be better represented by a child on a tricycle and a toy doctor’s bag.

To see the health care destroying covid spreading no help for the out of work elephant driving the relief vehicle is ludicrous.

I think that’s the relief bill that gave the workers nothing and 161 million to coal companies.

A bad deal is NOT better than no deal. Let’s hold out for a GOOD deal for all of us. As the party of "No’, it is hilarious to see Republicans trying to blame Democrats for aiding the people and not mostly companies, again.

Republican proles falling for this kind of propaganda make me laugh! When Democrats block the passing of a bill it is because it does not help the Little Guys as much as the Big Guys. Why is that concept so hard to grasp? Do all Republicans, no matter how wretched their financial situation is, always think they are Big Guys?
