Ahh yes. Another great pastime!

Ah, staring off into space! It’s something I sometimes enjoy every now and then!

Ah space. The final frontier.

Staring off into space, is that a metaphor, or is it just a hippy thing ?

If you were a dog, you would look for space-balls

Wouldn’t that require looking up or maybe through a telescope?

And staring off into space would be called a cheap date.

Watch out for Space Invaders. I believe they started just before Garfield.

Too technical for me.

I know what cats stare at when they seem to be staring at nothing: poltermice.

lets do it more often. this time with something tasty. ;)

If you’re a writer like me staring into space can be some of the best use of your time

Palpatine stares into space from the Death Star. Must be cool.

AND if you squint your eyes – just a tiny bit, don’t overdo it – and put a “thoughtful” expression on your face – you can get paid for it also.

You never see what is actually going on behind that fence.

Personally, I call it “Staring into space”

Garfield’s probably thinking about lasagna.

This is one of their better dates that they’ve had.

No…you can do that in a classroom or board meeting during the day.

Garfield smiles into the void but the void does not smile back.

Due to recent (and transitory) inflation, thoughts will now be two pennies.

Garfield had a date with a cute pink kitty with eyelashes and red lips and he stares off into space. Garfield, there’s no hope for you.

At last, something that Garfield and Arlene agree on.

Ah my favorite past time. Coincidentally it bears the same amount of hours I go to work

While she meditates, my cat will do this sort of thing and never see me. Like she’s in a trance.
