Well what are you waiting for, Odie? Get to sniffing!
I bet the scientific name for a cat’s nose — specially this cat in particular — is “lasagne finder.”
Bigus sniffus.
Baconus Findus
Or rather meat finder
They put them in a lot of places, they’re not shy
Nobody nose, the Truffles, I’ve seen, nobody nose, my sorrow.
So when dogs great each other they’re sniffing bacon? Funny place to keep bacon.
Lord of the Bacon, Fellowship of the Rinds.
Actually it’s other dog’s rear end finder.
Anybody’s nose can sniff out bacon. Well, maybe not mine temporarily. My sense of smell is off thanks to Covid.
My tongue is a “bacon-tester”.
Dog nose = Boop-snoots.
Butt-sniffer.
Canis nasus
Are you sure it isn’t “below-the-belt-sniffer”?
The science name for a dog nose is Rhinarium
I always thought it was butt magnet
Odie’s nose must be useless, it’s not called a “Lasagna-Finder”.
Odie’s on the scent already. You can see him wiggle his nose in that last panel.
BACON!
“My dog has no nose!” “How does he smell, then?”“Bloody awful!”
Or maybe dog butt finder.
What about a steak-finder or a ham-finder?
that changes from “Truffle finder”, “bomb finder”, “drug finder”…
Google tells me lasagna is the American spelling; lasagne British.
No whiffs, butts, or cans.
A dog would be " butt sniffer".
Wow! I didn’t know I was part dog!
Can’t we all use one of those?
High school Latin was a long time ago, I don’t recall the word for “Finder”, “Porcus” comes the closest to Bacon.
Garfield’s nose name would be “pizza finder”, “lasagna finder”, “cookie finder”, “dessert finder”, and on and on…
For some dogs, it’s ‘crotch finder’.
Should be sausage finder because dog always go to sniff my crotch
In other words don’t use Odie. He will eat the bacon himself.
