Christmas eve AKA the ultimate waiting game!

I always hate the time goes by incredibly slow when we sleep in Christmas Eve

Sorry, Garfield, but Santa sees you when you’re sleeping and knows when you’re awake.

Works for me.

If anyone could avoid going to sleep, it wouldn’t be you.

Too late to go to bed early — at least for me.

Santa understands my insomnia. I either try to sleep or read quietly, well away from the fireplace.

I prefer the go to bed early and actually sleep.

Maybe Santa will join you for your 2AM athletes events…. Waitsaminute what is I saying? Athletics? Garfield? Ho ho ho!

I remember not being able to sleep on Xmas Eve. Wish I could recapture that feeling.

That’s how it was with me and my older brother on Christmas Eve.

His eyes are definitely wide open.

Better take some melatonin, sleeping pill or a shot of Bourbon to help you sleep.

In one of Garfield’s earlier Christmas strips Garfield was going to bed at noon, with Pooky under his arm. Jon was asking him why . So Garfield said “The sooner you go to bed , the sooner it’s Christmas morning.” . Jon tucked Garfield into bed & said “Goodnight little fella .” <3
