This is just off the top of my head but… if Garfield turned around and planted his behind up against the hole and “cut”… It’s going to get real cheesy in there.

Grab the mouse, tie a string around his neck and use HIM as the Remote control until he returns the mechanical one. My parents used me and my siblings as Remote Controls, to change the channel or the volume until we got a tv With a remote.

I just love those computer games where you have to put the disc in the drive in order to play.

I just love cranking my car with a hand crank to start it up instead of the electric starter.

I just love walking up to the TV and changing channels.

As I look out over this audience I see nothing but potential (help my nose is growing) !

I’m nostalgic for the old days of about 10 years ago, when TVs still had controls on them to use if you couldn’t find the remote. Now I have a flat screen, cable box, DVD player, etc, and the only manual control any have is on and off.Of course, now, you’d need a dial the size of a manhole cover to include channels up to 900-something or other, (Not that anyone watches more than a dozen or so channels.)

Give him the cheese, Jon will grate on Garfield’s nerves.Don’t give him the cheese, no TV will grate on Garfield’s nerves.

In case you did not know the reasons that Garfield does not hate the mice in Jon’s house: In one past episode he was watching TV through the mouse hole! The mice get to choose which programs.
