This is just a little too unreal. NO ONE is THAT wimpy in real life.
The only people I know who SEEM that wimpy are REALLY sociopathic, passive-aggressive, high-stakes manipulators, and also pathological liars. Oh, please, don’t let Jon be one of those people.
You may say, “Of course, it’s not real. It’s a comic.”
But it seems to me, that in order to draw us in, humor must in part frame reality… which also makes characters endearing, and touching.
bestis2come……..if I want reality, I’ll go and look at the people in the street - it won’t be nearly so interesting. Anyway if reality is supposed to be an illusion, this is good an illusion as any.
