I thought jons brother lived on the farm
He does, same as Nermal.
Don’t call in sick Garfield, or else that’ll give Jon a reason to take you to see Liz.

First trip to the farm and the first mention of Jon’s parents being farmers
Right…the farm. The irony that he will call in sick. Because the farm indicates that Garfield is going to die, therefore, if he were to call in sick, he is almost agreeing to go to “the farm”
