    No cat’s tail is safe from a rocking chair? Not unless the breed is a Manx or a Japanese bobtail.

    Don’t know whether Garfield ever heard Kenny Loggins song about the long-tailed cat, but he’s certainly not the subject of it. At least anymore.

    It looks as if Garfield is about to add insult to injury in final panel (leg is cocked to spray).

    My family has always had a rocking chair for as long as I can remember, and a cat of some sort for nearly just as long…never had a problem ever between the two. Cat’s smart enough to not put itself into a position where it would be victim to the potential pain and suffering Garfield speaks of.

    I say this was more a case of Garfield just being too lazy to do the same and figured it was just easier to destroy the chair and be done with it.
