lemonbastk, I understand what you’re saying. It sometimes is indeed funny but usually not. It’s that once you start reading it, the expressions that the artist is able to put on the faces of the people as well as Fred makes you feel like you are part of the family, and that dog becomes your own friend. I don’t get the same family feeling reading Peanuts with that other hound..
