I always work the Friday after Thanksgiving. It’s usually a light day and I can get caught up on my work. Weird thing is, the morning always feels like a Monday while the afternoon feels like a Friday.
I worked for the phone company and we were open 24/7 hrs, 365 days a year. I worked many a holiday and weekend connecting loved ones to wish each other Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Mother’s Day, Happy Birthday, just because, etc.
Postal workers had Thursday off and then right back at it on Friday and Saturday. And overloaded with packages from people ordering early Christmas presents.

Honors to Charles Schulz on what would have been his century day.

I’m surprised that there wasn’t a tribute to Sparky.

I don’t have to work this weekend, but I did work yesterday. Thanksgiving just breaks the week in two for me.

Had a job many years where I had to work Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Not everybody works at a bank or for the government.

I know several people who like to work Thanksgiving, for the double time pay.

Dr. Asimov, in his 70s and 80s, used to say, “I’m in my late youth. I say ‘late’ because it’s dead.”

Kind of odd today to see the (few) cartoonists who aren’t paying tribute to Charles Schulz when so many are. Makes you wonder, why not?
