That’s Frazz’s influence alright! Feeling superior to other people is what he’s all about.
Ever notice in the strip, the characters talk with Frazz in the last panel?
Very interesting. Thanks for the links.
She just told the young girl that she is simply average and right on the mean. Her hey!! What did she call me!?!? moment will not arrive until she is on the bus.
Love the old problems because Farmer Phil could sell no apples today that weren’t union picked, government inspected, farm store licensed, …
I like Frazz’s t-shirt
Socrates says all men are liars. Socrates is a man.

The performance and self-actualization types will suggest that you have an encouraging catch phrase, a motivational mantra of sorts, handy for those times when a task seems just a little too daunting. I find myself in over my head often enough to have use for a number of mantras, and one of my most effective is, I fear, less charitable than it could be.
“Lesser people than you have pulled this off,” I tell myself.
I’d feel worse about it except I know that once it works, as soon as I do succeed, I’m one of those lesser people than the next person to use that mantra. It’s the circle of life-hacking.

My mantra is simple: “1%” As in, I’m 1% smarter than whatever it is I’m working on. Unless it’s this danged new smart phone. Stupid technology!
