Some people at my job need to be weeded out too.
It’s all in the terminology. For example, landscaping should have, with the over use of blowers, become landscraping or landscalping. Rakes are never seen, grass seed is in the wind, and fall blooms turn into confetti. One guy was told to stay out of the flower beds. Evidently he misunderstood because he blew a dozen new iris sets into the vacuum truck. Used to have a guy and his partner and we walked the yard and discussed what to do next. Always did a good job and asked questions if he wasn’t sure about something. Now the truck pulls up, the blowers roar, and last week’s planning goes into the hopper. Mechanical progress doesn’t necessarily mean better service.
And that name – “Sod ’Em and Go Mow ’Em”
I can think of a few developers that would want to hire him. They like to clear cut any property they’re building.
A great future as a PR man for a politician.
He just needs some investors to front some seed money but I guess he’s set on leafing.
Is buying a company like this like buying a used car? If you buy, you get all the problems (and debt) that comes with it. Let the buyer beware.
