They are so far apart it is not likely. Examples: Growing the government/Shrinking the government, Ending fracking/expanding fracking, Killing the preborn/protecting the preborn, Promoting personal responsibility/taking care of people for life, Equality of opportunity/Equality of outcome. Raising taxes/Lowering taxes. I think the list might be endless.

Some people sure like to use loaded language. Abortion has been around for thousands of years and it’s not going away. I don’t think anybody likes it but is it worth dividing the country over it? It’s not the only problem this nation faces and some others are far more pressing.

I just had an idea for coming together. The left gets electric cars, the right get natural gas cars. The left gets no fracking on the East and West Coast states, the right gets it in all the others. The left gets no more Capital Punishment, the right gets no more Abortions. I can do more but this would be a nice start at getting along, An Olive Branch as some have suggested.
