I love this unreservedly.

Lately I’ve been posting “It’s a cartoon, not a documentary,” on various comment sections. And almost every day, it could reasonably be posted in almost all of them.

I think what’s needed is a grassroots movement. So, in various sections, I’ve posted some variation of this…

Just walk in and sing

♪ “It’s a comic, not a documentary!” ♪

and walk out.

You know, if one person, just one person, does it, they may think that person’s really sick and they won’t take it seriously.

And if two people do it ♪ in harmony ♪ they may think they’re both obsessive-compulsive and they won’t take either of them seriously.

And if three people do it! Can you imagine three people walkin’ in and singin’ it and walkin’ out? They may think it’s an Organization!

And can you imagine fifty people a day? I said FIFTY people a day, walkin’ in, singin’ it and walkin’ out?

Friends, they may think it’s a Movement, and that’s what it is.

The Funnies is Funnies anti-massacree movement! And all you gotta do to join is to sing it the next time it comes around on the guitar…

With feelin’.
