Coach: Fox, hold on- don't take batting practice yet. My car's in the parking lot where your foul balls tend to land. I want to move it to someplace where you won't be likely to hit it.
Peter: Why's he driving it into center field?
Very funny! Why isn’t Peter laughing?
That’s a supportive coach.
guess Peter has “warning track power?” probably more like “infield dirt power.”
Looks like the coach knows him pretty well.
It’s called sarcasm, Peter.
No, no, Coach, that’ll guarantee that Peter hits the ball into center field.
So aim for center field, Pete. That’ll teach ‘im!
Better yet, bunt, you’re more likely to hit the car, that way.
Foul coaches lead to foul balls.
Reminds me of the day I hit 13 foul balls. Had to halt practice to go pick them up from the parking lot. There was a dent in the coach’s car. I was the only one on the team not to letter that year. HMMMMMMMMM????
I know what! Peter could sign for the 0 and 7 Astros!
I think he’d be the ‘Stros’ only starter under 35 …
Because you’re a lousy hitter! Take the hint…..do something else!
What a supportive coach. Willing to sacrifice his car to get Peter to hit better.
I am no better then Peter and always hit foul balls into the opposing teams coaches car. I have always wondered why I was kept on the team and placed at bat so often?!
