Jason, a Cheapskate? Sir, you dishonor the boy! A young entrepreneur, a beginning Trump! He sees a need, he advances a product to help the need.

The fact that he assisted in creating the need, much the same way as Coke, Pepsi, McDonald’s has is beside the point.

Your payment will be not in money, but how many weeks you will not be grounded. Provided, of course, you hand it over now.

Easy solution. Jason has an ice scraper. He’s their son. Order him to scrape the ice off the car. Boom.

Solution; two buckets of water. One hot, for the car. One cold, for Jason’s head.

Nice hat, Roger…tad cold to be wearing it without earmuffs IMO, though, seeing it’s likely near freezing, temperature-wise. And since he’s probably not going to be getting into that car anytime soon ANYWAY, no matter how you cut it, he’s probably going to want them.

I used to ride my bike in the winter. The lock would frequently freeze shut, so I would poor a cup of hot water on it to deice it. Then I learned that steel or aluminum can only take that treatment so many times before it cracks like glass. Better to have learned that lesson with a cheap lock than an expensive car.

It’s Roger’s fault for not disconnecting the outside taps for the winter.

Roger forgot to hide the hoses after disconnecting them from the taps for the winter, didn’t he?

Back when I used to valet park, way too many people who are allowed to vote kept a canister of lock de-icer in their ashtrays.

actually when ice is that thick it is pretty easy to get off. Just grab a small ball peen hammer and carefully break the ice. The ice will come off in large chunks and sheets without any need to scrape it.
