“Stunned” must have a different meaning for Lorne.

Who is the world is Rhetta talking to in the final panel when she says, “Look at him! — He is, like totally stunned!!” Is she talking to me? I think she might be.

Well, this is an interesting development.

I hope Mike is smiling in the last panel and his teeth are not just sticking out like a character in one of Svengoolie’s movies!!

Mike’s face will haunt my dreams.. funny how an image freezes in your brain when your given more time to focus on it versus say a collection of strips.

That is the absolute looniest I’ve ever seen Michael — or any of Lynn’s characters, for that matter.

Ah, the glazed over stupid look, the mind emptying itself of all conscious thought, the ears ceasing to function. True love has stunned Michael with a smack in the head, the heart, as well as a few other organs.

The fact he’s her bro doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a boyfriend elsewhere, however. (Though she doesn’t, apparently.)

In New England, they have an expression, “Numb as a Hake” for someone totally clueless.

Idiotic final panel. Know your audience, Lynn, no one in the US says “stunned” to mean “stupid.” And she says it like he’s standing in front of them. (“Look at him? Where??”) And furthermore, the brother’s been established as handsome. And further furthermore, Mike looks like some long-necked geek!!
