Counter arguments to having kids
racquetball court… uh-huh
Mudding the wall will take care of shallow imperfections, Anything more than that and it is replacement.
Make them pay for a quarter each
This will take a LOT of plaster to fix. :P
Plaster is cheap, and the two laborers will be happy to help.
Lord, Mike and Liz. I hope your dad makes YOU both plaster over all holes you made. I would.
I bet the cost of putting up new drywall will come out of their allowances!!
Oooo! Textured walls, without having to pay extra!
Kids trash everything….. Frikkin’ idiots…
Elizabeth is brave to be in there barefooted..
STOP making a racquet!
What a bunch of dummies!
No matter how good I get at racquetball, I will never be as good as a wall
Back when I was about five, my parents had a concrete floor poured in the basement to make it into a rec room. Once they thought it was dry, they let me and my younger brother go down and take a look. Well, it was solid enough for little kids to walk on, but we could still scratch out drawings and stuff using a stick, and we seriously messed up the floor. They had to call the contractor back and put down a second layer of concrete — and they kept us out of there for a week.
We did some dumb things in our time but this is beyond anything. I can’t even imagine how angry my dad would have been.
So Michael, remember when you said how parents accused you of acting without thinking when you were when you were woken up by your mother to find Lawrence?
Now you know why they think that way about you.
Yes indeed, teenagers really are that stupid
Make them texture it!
…but isn’t it nice to see sister and brother, finally getting along together ?
Oooooooo shhhhhhhhhhhh well you get the rest
Now they’re stucco walls. Yuck.
I can remember playing in a construction site after hours once. The worst we did was move things from one house to another to make ourselves a “shelter” within the framed walls. No real damage, but I’ll bet the workers weren’t happy on Monday morning. It’s no wonder that most construction sites now have either security cameras or a full-time guard on site 24/7.
John should be more upset about the number of fasteners the workers used to install the drywall to begin with.
I have a story that tops this.
When she was in high school, my sister washed my parents’ car with steel wool.
Drywall can be removed and replaced. Scratches all over the car, however…
Hey, they were doing something together and not being mean to each other. That is a win. Some good Brother sister bonding.
Spackle and sandpaper should do it. I’ve fixed actual holes in walls that way.
So… filling the holes and sanding is not an option??? If it is, those two kids should have to do it!
