As some have pointed out, a “Sports Car” doesn’t have a back seat. What they have is a “Sport Coup”.

Hey Lynn… ever heard of “Uber”?

I just hope that nobody gets hurt in the accident that is sure to happen.

Where is the ‘stick’? You can’t have a sports car without a stick to shift. I remember driving a 240Z when I was in my 20s, (and I wont say how long ago that was). At the time I couldn’t afford to own one though, (and the insurance that went with it).

John is still more concerned about his damned car that about his children.

The most scared I have been was in a cab in Chicago with a Turkish? driver.

my kids take the car I take a picture of the odometer and gas gauge and measurement of tire thread. I want to know where they are really going and if they are racing corners..

Mike gets a ticket for driving too slow.

We can all see how this can go bad at any intersection or in the parking lot. now we get to see if Johnston has a dark streak.

I still remember what it was like when my three sons started driving.

The difficult task of accepting the fact that kids grow up and take responsibility, is seldom easy for the parents.

After having a friend thrown out (someone else ran a stop sign) and dying, I told my kids if I saw them without a seat belt (and anyone else in the car) they were grounded for a YEAR. Many years later a relative died being thrown out, and I know 3 people in wheelchairs because of that. The males also have a bigger chance of having dived in where they could not see the bottom.

Everyone here is predicting accidents or worse with Mike driving that car. Lynn’s story line is much better that that bit of predictability.

What I’m curious about: Why couldn’t Elizabeth walk to the rink? Remember the map? House and rink are about 3 1/2 blocks apart. What am I missing?
