no play with Mommy makes baby pretty dull
If you think April’s trouble now, wait until she becomes a teenager! ’D
And John just watches without doing anything? Is he deaf?
They know what causes that you know.
You “play” you pay!
All play and no work makes mommy something, something…… :D
Guy with no children here: Is there any real point to speaking in baby talk with a kid and not using grammar?
My daughter (33 years ago), was like this. She would grab onto my leg and not let go. I had to walk around the house like that. We called her The Barnacle. And her name is April, too. LOL
My older daughter was always the queen of self-containment. When she was a baby, I could put her in her saucer, put on some music, have a few toys in her tray, and could (probably; I’d never ACTUALLY) leave her for hours.
always knew when my son did not feel well. he became a hip tumor
sounds like nap time to me.
The saddest thing my mother-in-law ever said to me was that when her kids were little she thought the best way to be a perfect mother was to keep her house spotless. She said she would give anything if she had just sat on the floor and read to them or played with them.
It moves from the front to the side.
It does not hurt to let them cry (though it may drive you insane)
Play with Mommy makes back pain
Ugh another complaint about being a mom… .
Another reason “The Ape” is an appropriate name for April. She’s being raised by Tarzan.
At that age, kids are a handful of pain in the back.
I’d give my kids pots and pans, and a wooden spoon. Banging was better than screaming.
For the umpteenth time! Put the kid down, already! I’d like to know if she carried the other two all the time like this. I told you once about my SIL. She didn’t really want her 3rd, oops baby, and after she was born, carried her around out of guilt. That kid’s feet never touched ground for 3 years.
You could always win the screaming contest.
After raising two other children, she doesn’t know to put that child in a playpen and just let it cry? Eventually, that girl would realize it’s futile and stop.
so why doesn’t HE take the baby for a while so she can get her work done. he was there when the baby was made, he should be pitching in to help out after her birth!
My wife and stepdaughter were just watching an episode of Dr. Who where the Doctor could understand “baby”. People were all designated as either “Mum”, “not-Mum” or “Peasant” …
Daddy does not help.
