This, indeed, was what I experienced as a young mom. With a demanding job and many projects on the go, I hardly had time to think. I used to say, “If I didn’t have to sleep, I could get SO MUCH done!”

Elly, step back from a few things, and breathe a bit.

It is understandable why she may not have time to see a doctor. How much of a drive would it be for Elly to get to the US border?

Elly learns to say “no” to everyone wanting her to do something. Also, give those kids some house chores! They’re old enough.
