I’m envious of that pile of photos!It wasn’t part of our family culture to take pictures of each other. we didn’t own a camera and to this day I am unable to find a picture of all of us together at the same time from pictures other people took.
My mother always took a lot of pictures of everybody that came into her range. I thought it was annoying and intrusive. However, a number of people thanked her later as they would not have had any nice candid shots of a family member who has passed if she hadn’t taken them.
