    It might be an old strip, but it’s still very true! Some guys never want their wife to have any eself esteem, or she might leave him. And she probably should have.

    Wow. I can’t believe it’s the very first one. I like this strip a lot; it’s not perfect, I don’t agree with all aspects of it, but I do really enjoy it. This could be a fun read through

    For some reason they don’t show the Sunday strips for the first few months. The Sunday strip that proceeds this one showed Elly in a bathrobe cleaning the house. The song "Wives & Lovers: comes on the radio Hey, little girl Comb your hair, fix your make-up Soon he will open the door Don’t think because There’s a ring on your finger You needn’t try any moreSomebody should show the songwriter this strip to see how well his advice works. Sunday strip ended with Elly beating the radio to death with the vacumn cleaner.
