I was self home schooled in my older days (mostly after marriage and divorce) although before marriage I was self taught Spanish. Later I learned all I needed of gear ratios and such to design a machine for one employer (to do the task that he could not get reliable workers to fill). Later on I was self taught in AutoCAD and also in thermo dynamics, psychrometrics and such as I worked in mechanical design for many consulting firms. Now I’m retired (lack of employment) and amuse myself studying more to improve my health (because at 75, I choose to never use medications and only wear glasses for magnification).
