And not just more comic relief (like Alan falling through the railing, &c).
A fear of mine is that, while it is said that Aaron is only half way through this saga, the build up we’ve been sitting through often feels like it’s soon to be curtains for our entire cast.
Unless this journey into the Grex (or whatever that is) ends up restoring everything to before the Apex wars, and we get a chance to see our heroes as humans once again…
I think that was the saddest thing about the big bear story. I would have thought that, having died, he would have returned to being a human once again.
Aaron and the fishing rod was a nice touch, though.
