Just because it’s made out of toothbrushes, doesn’t mean you can reason with it.

Also, the good doctor’s called Alan ‘Alan’, not ‘elephant’.

Now they find a newspaper that gives them some answers! Which conveniently is in a language Dr. Amesworth can read, unless her suit comes with an auto-translate feature. I have to keep in mind this is an alternate-Earth, not a different planet, but language shifts could occur in the different ‘versions’ of the worlds.

Kudos to Wally for wanting to be compassionate, but Alan is cautious and with good reason, not just fearfulness this time. He also steps forward and rescues Wally, instead of letting him be injured by that toothbrush-entity.

Hurry up, Dr. Amesworth! What does the newspaper say???

I guess looking for the portal is on hold. Understandable as this manifestation needs to be dealt with first…..don’t need it tagging along thru the portal with you.

I wonder what that newspaper is saying. Maybe some kind of last issue that explains how the world is experiencing a sort of grey-good scenario, only here the nanites are instead self-replicating toothbrushes, using the humans of this world as a ressource source.

There it is, the Toothbrush Apocalypse. You know what, maybe the apocalypse with the wasteland full of monsters and cartoon characters isn’t so bad.

Thank heavens I was wrong! It wasn’t Dr. Amesworth trapped in the toothbrushes.

You realize what this means, a predator that uses a plea for help to entice victims to get close and try to communicate with it. It means they’ve got internet scammers in this world too. Run!!

I wonder did the monster breach the barrier Wally made, or Wally removed it?

Sure you can reason with it. Just like you can reason with a vat of acid. Still not a great idea to put your arm in it, though…

If whatever that thing is has eaten all the beings at the station, then maybe it has imprisoned their minds. Then one of them could cry out for help before being pushed back in by the devourer thing. Or, it could be trying to bait them as bscruffy suggested.

Remember that Wally’s no fool. Before he went to Endtown, he’d survived for four years solo in the Great Waste.

It is getting disappointing that all new beings encountered have to be monsters that ultimately need to be destroyed.

Good grief! That’s a video game!

On the positive side, we have been shown this one topsider who apparently isn’t interested in killing all mutants.

An occasional look back at Kirbee, Chic, and Irving would be nice, too. It’s kind of like the world we live in at the moment – it would be nice if someone checked in on us once in a while, too.

This is getting difficult to follow – in addition to the erratic release of episodes. Among other things, it’s starting to look like just two installments a week – with no predictability as to what days they will appear.

Yes, I understand that Aaron has other irons in the fire – and some pretty serious health issues on top of that.

But it’s starting to reach a level of frustration that has me wondering whether it’s worth it to continue.

Add to that, it’s often much easier to go away for weeks, even months at a time, then look at them all at once.

Can’t participate in the commentators’ sandbox, but what the hey?

My wife and I took a walk thru the neighborhood this morning. In one of the intersections there was a toothbrush laying in the middle of the street. Have to admit that I did a double take as we walked by…..
