She said that her team “ran studies on volunteers for three straight years”. I wonder how much of the population of Eden is made up of those volunteers. Maybe Ravenscroft was one, too…or else one of the “team” that had an accident. Maybe the goggles and gloves are leftovers from his old biosuit.

So tell me again why Duffy thought he needed to carry a knife.

It’s interesting that neither Wally nor the topsider seem too concerned about what just happened.

And to be fair, why should Wally and the woman want to get into a fight (when they notice it) where Duffy is chewing up the “scenery” (so to speak)?

It looks like his animal side “switch” was clicked on Panel 2. Before that he was fighting like a human, at Panel 2 he turned into the lion he is down in the depths of his being.

I was wondering if this Topsider’s theory takes into account those who, to all appearances, did not mutate at all. Like Albert.
