Freaking out, yes, but no need to make a meal of it. I suspect Wally is practically a buddhist these days.
Now the real fun begins. I doubt Ravenscroft knew why or how the goggles work but I’m betting it’s a key to undoing the the dimensional macrame that has trapped them.
He wouldn’t, or couldn’t explain..?
Now Wally sees things thru a different spectrum. Now see how many fingers you have…….
Wally’s an engineer; I’ll bet he’ll be able to figure out how the goggles work. Then figure out exactly what’s going on, then formulate a plan to solve the problem. Hopefully with no one else being twisted out of reality as Ravenscroft was.
But right this moment he’s seeing his anthro self depicted on a comic book cover. No wonder he’s freaking out! Keep calm and carry on saving the colony, Wally. :)
great image in the last panel -
So good to have these in the mornings again.
There must be some lying around after certain mutations took place. I don’t think Linda needed hers afterwards. (Whatever happened to her?)
It’s like ripping off someone else’s face and covering the skin over your own to blend in with the crowd better. “If you could see with my eyes…”
“If you could see through my eyes, you would see things in a different way.”
Answers won’t really start on Wednesday because Wally has to deal with that cover showing him and Holly. Who seem to have had no connections before the war, and yet there are their very anthro images. And they were antagonists (in the comic), not lovers. Nothing to freak out about… And from the comic, Ravenscroft had concluded that Holly would be with Wally when he came to Eden.
One would expect comics with cats and mice. And ducks and dogs and coyotes and roadrunners, skunks, bears and pigs. Chickens and hawks (Foghorn Leghorn!) But lizard women?
And who else (besides Duffy) is in that comic?
Topsider lenses! I should have spotted that!
Don’t freak out too much.
Now I begin to wonder, could Ravenscroft be a transformed Topsider?
