    It might be a nickname.

Methinks whoever said that Wally’s little party is going to gain a new member was probably correct.

The question now is, what do they have to go through before that happens?

I’m wondering what decision awaitsDoes he have an impact on egg-layer fates? Is he when he reaches some stage of maturityBound to help reptiles stay in egg-security?But Chic’s “benefactor used phrasing suggetingThat either way, Chic would leave. Dying or questing? That doesn’t quite jive if he’s needed as rooster(The layers seem large! Maybe Chic needs a booster)=|====/ Level Head”http://topwebcomics.com/vote/12413/default.aspx?userid=Level Head">Vote for Endtown 2.0And for Doc Rat, tooThe Endtown ForumThe Endtown AuctionThe Endtown Books

Hotel CrocodiliaTo the tune of on Hotel California by The Eagles (writers Don Henley, Glenn Lewis Frey, Don Felder)On a dark desert highway, warm wind in my face,Sharp spires of crystal reaching up into space,Saw a shadowy figure in a cloak and a hood.He called his bro’s round and they took our gear – Things weren’t lookin’ so good. Led us inside their city. I heard destiny toll. And I was thinking to myself,“This could be a haven or could be a hole.”There we stood on a platform. We rose into the stall. There were lizards sitting row by row. I thought I heard them call:Welcome to the Hotel Crocodilia.Such a lovely place (Such a lovely place)If you’re scaly-faced.There’s beckoning cells in the Hotel Crocodilia. If your blood be cold (If your blood be cold),Welcome to the fold. Her mind is bitterly twisted. Lone racoon for a friend. She got a clean, clean body now, with a tail at one end.All around the great hallway, slaves help her dine. What became of their freedom? What’s becoming of mine? So she said to the waiter: “Boy, bring me my meal.”He said: “All we got ‘round here is eggs, and a cook who don’t care if I squeal.”And still reptilian apathy hangs like a pall. It’s a drag if you’re not on the team, ‘cause you hear that call: Welcome to the Hotel Crocodilia.Such a lovely place (Such a lovely place)If you’re scaly-faced.They livin’ it up at the Hotel Crocodilia. If you’re reptilian, we can deal you in. Bars on the windows. Bare bench in the cell. And he said: “We are all so civilized here, as you see very well.”In the smouldering kitchen,Don’t regret what I did.“You can stab me with your steely knife, but you just won’t touch the kid!” Last thing I remember, I was running from the law.I had to find the passage back to the world I knew before. “You belong to your lizard – that’s for her to achieve. You’ll be walking ‘til the end of time,But you can never leave!”

    And vote for Doc Rat

Chic and Ben need moral support. Vote for them. And check out Level_Head’s other links too. It’s always good to support your artists, anyway you can.

Ya know, if GoComics had smilies like Doc Rat has in Jenner’s forum , both of which support Endtown and GoComics with links to here, I would be bowing down to, and applauding Level_Head and Jenner for their brilliance. I just, ahem, BORROWED Lou Reed’s fire and light. Son et Lumiere ?, White Light, White Heat?, and Transformed it a little. All brilliance here is not mine. Really Sincerely and Respectfully, JusSayin

One of the bright spots of my morning, after Endtown, is reading the comments from the folks here. Poetry, puns, and the clever speculation on Aaron’s plans.

Just wanted to say thanks for that.

So this is civilized justice. A veiled threat and call to loyalty when considering this situation. This next fight “trial” will be a call for Chic to decide his future.

Aaron keeps painting the lizards darker and darker. Including Sarah. At what point are we supposed to give up hope on them?.Likely, “Chic,” whatever his real name is, will join our little band. But will Sarah stay behind? Or will she be ejected, too?.After all, the other lizards seem to blame her for the behavior of her “charges.”.And I’m still trying to figure out what Sarah meant last week, when Wally and Phil were being carried out, she said “Freaks!”.Curious.

Chic’s connection may be that he is related to one of the lizards but ostracized because he mutated differently.

Hmmm…since Chic has connections that try to protect him then maybe there is a faction within the lizards not on board with how they do things. And if there is such a faction, maybe, just maybe they might be the ones to help our band of wayfaring misfits out of their current jam.

Ugh, didn’t expect to be commenting on this strip so soon. This morning, my contract shop rep called me into an office and said that I was being let go. I’ve been out of work for a year and my CATIA (a form of computer drafting) skills are rustier than Spirit Aerosystems is willing to tolerate. I just feel worn out and let down.

True. I <3 bearded dragons. There were nice, and even pleasantly emotional lizards in Endtown. They weren’t featured much, but then, no species really took the we-outnumber-everybody stance except for the rats. And here it’s the lizards. (Why are there no variations in lizard types, like there have been variations in cat types? Even the nice lizards in Endtown resembled these lizards physically.) Beyond the gargantuan stalagmites and haunting all of Endtown, it was the plastic-coated humans. Notice the correlation in height between humans and these lizards.

So what we’re seeing, then, is a modern-day strip of ‘Animal Farm’. In that story, the pigs who took control were fur-less, like the humans before them.

Fantastic facial expressions, and cuteness too!

Basically, we’re reminded that power corrupts. And that fear in the masses allows the already-corrupt to take power, further corrupting the corruptibility of power. (Say that 5 times fast.)

I don’t see these lizards (reptiles) as that bad. They have their community and it is set up a certain way. How and why have not been determined but they are what they are. No one has the right to make them change just because you disagree with it. If that was possible we could change China into a full democracy and we all know THAT is not going to happen. There is a lot about this place we nor Sarah, Jim, Wally, or Holly know about. They act with a lot of restraint considering they could have just killed Jim, Wally, and Holly and accepted Sarah. Instead they take them in (took everything they had…..) as would any one else coming into their area of operations. Spies, villians, thieves??? They have to check. The one thing is certain Sarah has been given responsibility over Jim, Wally, and Holly although she does not know why. I don’t think she likes the responsibility but it is a path she will approaching.Right now first things…..get some food…..some rest……..quietly ask some questions……this lizard at the door may be able to answer some questions IF asked correctly. He may not be able to answer all till a decision is reached but any information is better than none.
