Okay, Endtown fans, really important message. Aaron Neathery had hospital treatment for his recurrent leg infection, two weeks ago, and as a result he didn’t die from it.Now, the medical bill has come in, and it’s big enough to finish him. Very seriously, we HAVE to support him now, or Endtown will be over. Aaron has to get SOME substantial income from his professional efforts right now, and we followers are in the best position to do it.He has no time to do extra artwork or commissions. There are seven Endtown prints for sale. I bought a set of seven. They are on their way to me now. I’m really looking forward to seeing them. Many of you can afford to do the same. You may say: “Why should I spend it on a set of prints, when I could buy something else with my money?” Or you may say: “I really don’t have any money to spare, right now, so how can I?” Well, the aswer is: Choose the battles you fight. And right here and now, it’s time to fight this one. For Aaron.PLEASE buy a set of Endtown prints.

Holly’s first action is to run to the rescue of Maude. I am hoping that as a “unaware” party???? Can we just play that she was an unaware party so she can be able to continue freedom … Yes Aaron you have put me in a really worry wort place. Once in particular about your health and second about your characters who are really real to me. Maybe I will just sleep through the weekend. I love you AN. I love you too surfstuff55.Blessed Be

Or if you can’t use prints, just go to the auction block and click the yellow “donate” button. It’s worked for me.

I noticed that too. These Police rats seem abit laid back. But remember they have captured the “dangerous unstable” criminals responsible. So Endtown is now safe from the rampage. ( It is how they would see it)Unauthorized Cake wowwee what a crime and scandal but from Holly’s expression very serious situation.

Up late. Have a small dog who suffers from epiletic seizures sometimes. Treat it just like a human sufferer. Kept her warm and calm. Let her ride it out. Takes about a hour and now she is nodding off beside me. I think I will nod off now.Later folks.Did anyone else notice the wire wheels on the “Paddy Wagon”?

With it being called unauthorized cake rather than illegal cake maybe there’s just forms and processes to go through to legally make a cake with mutant based ingrediants? Those government people don’t like it when you don’t fill out the forms, especially when you don’t fill them out in triplicate.

Also anyone who’s looking for a good listing of week/titles for Endtown there’s a fairly good Table of contents on it’s old home of http://www.moderntales.com/comics/endtown.php?view=toc. Unfortunately this only goes through the stories of before it was brought to GoComic.

Holly knows Maude was a contributor, but does she think she was a willing participant, or that she was taken advantage of? The look on her face can mean anything..

I have some understanding. Had to wear my pentagram under my shirt as a security guard. But at least the same thing had to be done with crosses and such.-I would suggest taking away that key. Finding someone who would respect you and your wishes for when that time comes.-I wish that I could at least send my best to Aaron Neathery.-And I am sorry that I can not help further. But I am out of work, fighting to get disability, just out of the hospital myself, and only living on with the help of some friends putting a roof over my head & and letting me use there internet connection.

You can also just donate any sum of money on the site where you can buy the prints. If enough people gave 1 dollar, I’m sure that would help.

Different rats for different jobs. It would figure.Did you notice the expression on the chef when Holly asked if someone was killed. His response was “Worse”It is worse to make illegal food products than murder.I cannot wait (but I will have to) to see how the legal process runs in Endtown. This is (as usual) going to be good. Also noticed these are “Police”. When Wally did his thing with the thief a “police” officer took him into custody. He was no rat. I think he was a “bear” (Old cop term back in CB days). The “Police” force of Endtown may be broke down in jurisdiction this way. The “crime” committed determines who of the “police” respond. The Rats being the elite top jurisdiction and other local constabulary under. Unlawful Food “seems” to be a really particular bad crime compared to murder. As Spock always said “Interesting”

Nice detail, the way the crime scene tape wraps around Maurice’s leg. Says the rats are still what they were when we first met them—-slightly dangerous, but highly incompetent.

I remember the “bull” who told Wally and Holly that it was a little late to be kissing outside (after that first kiss) As far as I’m concerned, the security rats strike me as a little too psychotic to be considered elite. but that’s just me.

There may be important medical reasons why mutant products are illegal. No offense to Maude, but people could get mad cow disease from her milk, or some other prion disease. Feeding protein back to the species that produced it has a tendency to produce prionic brain diseases like BSE, Creutzfeldt-Jacob disease, scrapie, and kuru. Throw in the mutant factor and you don’t really know what you’re getting. Mutant human milk and eggs might have a higher incidence of prions than pre-End human products. Milk might be safe enough, but eggs and meat are more likely to rot your brain.Less severely, sanitary laws might be similar to those in our world where it’s illegal to add human secretions to restaurant food. You will have police taking you away for putting spit, snots, feces, blood, and other unthinkables in someone’s food. Aside from the yuck factor, there’s the possibility of spreading serious diseases like typhoid and AIDS.

I think it is going to be an issue of PROFITS.Money Money Money. If it is discovered one can do this cake WITHOUT paying maybe an extravagant fee????Well just saying.Remember this is Endtown under war time conditions.Personal freedoms are the property of Endtown. They can give it and they can take it away.Making your own cake without authorization apparently is a crime. And it does not appear to be a breach of the peace but a major issue calling in the big guns and extreme actions. So much for just a small cake.

Holly looks cuter than usual in panel 2. The rats seem bigger now. and these rats are just doing their work with a small amount of busyness, like any worker. . I knew they were not all radical extremists.

“How ’bout it TSOJ, Aaron, either of you got the dates at least of the “new” storylines?”I’ve got the list of story arcs on the Endtown wiki. Just click on the link at the beginning of each description to jump to the strip that starts the arc. (I need to update the list to add Linda’s chapter, but I don’t have a working title for it yet.)

I was starting to order a T-shirt , but my boyfriend/ex-husband called. I told him about Aaron and his bills, and we will both get a shirt! but can’t until next week end.Is “the gang’s all here” come as a print too?We both live below the poverty level so we don’t do stuff like this, but I have medicare, he doesn’t have insurance till the AC health (Obama-care) kicks in next year.

that strip and the following one is what I want as a print more than anything! It’s my rat-love. Notice the varying sizes of the rats, from almost as big as most mutants down to soup-swimming size! Aaron, when you are up to it, I really want this strip and the following one!

Alright folks, my donation is sent in to AAron. Where’s yours? If everyone that reads this strip just donated 10 bucks, that would do a lot toward helping Aaron with his medical bills.

Well you do have to consider her past, and using parts of mutants back then. Not as horrific baking a cake, but they might think it’s a slippery slope from confections to carving boards.

My only question is that, if Linda spent three months in orientation before going to live in Endtown, didn’t they teach her that consuming mutant produce was such a taboo?

Something about rules of behavior regarding consumption of mutant products made me think of these, the law from the Island of Dr. Moreau: "Not to go on all-fours; that is the Law. Are we not Men? “Not to suck up Drink; that is the Law. Are we not Men? “Not to eat Fish or Flesh; that is the Law. Are we not Men? “Not to claw the Bark of Trees; that is the Law. Are we not Men? “Not to chase other Men; that is the Law. Are we not Men?”Maybe somewhere are similar rules in Endtown to keep whatever human attributes might remain in the mutants.

If the Endtowners aren’t crazy about cake with mutant eggs and Maude’s milk, they sure won’t go for something with a lot of rat in it, no matter how well done it’s cooked. Remember Maurice’s special spice?
