Fox News ordered us to be furious; therefore, we are furious.

    Also outraged.

We know what it is, and it is a disgusting diatribe that is not only anti-American, it is contrary to common decency. To tell children that conditions of their birth determine their lot in life is disgusting! They should be inspired, not oppressed (and depressed) before they even have a chance to develop.

“Critical Race Theory” is not a course subject – and it it certainly not taught ANYWHERE in Virginia schools.

It basically is a “bugbear” used to frighten the uninformed and unintelligent among the masses with whom the G.O.P. wishes to curry favor – the average republican has no clue as to what it is or isn’t – they just “know” the title has “race” in it so it MUST be bad!

Incidentally, the woman featured prominently in the Virginia republican political campaign complaining about the “horrible” book her son was forced to read – “Beloved” – failed to mention that the book was awarded a Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, her son was a high school senior and that he was in an advanced honors class at the time.

The boy was essentially an adult – at least physically if not mentally, at the time, so EXACTLY when does she think children should be exposed to the world of ideas out there?

America’s history re First Nations natives, African enslavement and post-Emancipation (and continuous into present day) Jim Crow apartheid policies, actions against Asian POC (not least of which WWII concentration camps/property theft), despicable immigration policy past/present — particularly against POC but also Caucasians of Hispanic descent …

All of the above (and things I won’t take time to include) do not comply with the Christian Dominionist 7 Mountains cultural purity “history” of North American European colonization/USA founding, and must be suppressed and eventually disappeared from the historical record.

Christian Dominion cancel culture will be a feature of Christian Dominion totalitarianism. One comparison among many available: members of this group intend and will act to compel each member of society to become identical with themselves (or else) — think Picard after capture by the Borg as they act to subdue the entire crew of Enterprise and take total control of the vessel.

It doesn’t matter. It contains 3 evil words: Critical, race, and theory. You can tell it’s bad.
