I did that yesterday! I was expecting a couple of packages to be delivered today (since yesterday was Memorial Day) but I heard the beeping of the delivery person’s machine once down the hall (I live in a condo) and then once again much closer to my door. My eyes got all big and my lips turned up in a huge smile with anticipation. Seconds later they knocked on my door and by the time I opened it, I had two beautiful Amazon packages at my doorstep.
Mike G: Unless you include those for whom they refuse to serve such as schools or police protection – but even there, the government is increasingly emulating the private sector.
