Wally: "Call" my name, yes. "Shout" my name, no way!
Wally seems to fit all wiener dogs! I have had 8 of them over the years and have 3 now and if I raise my voice they all get frightened…even when I am not even mad at them or even mad….:-) They know the tone of my voice and recognize if something good is to come out of the tone of my voice— like a TREAT! I look forward to seeing the comic everyday hoping to see Wally! Kevin has their personality down perfect in the comic strip. My dogs can tell when I call their name if it is the tone meaning “treat” or “go outside to pee”. the latter tone they often will hide. but If I throw in there that “Mommy is Home” they come running to go outside expecting to see Mom in driveway!
