Perhaps I am ignorant in Geography, but I seem to remember that Bosnia had no access to the sea. Not even in 1996.

Should have saved the money and spent it on decks of cards and dice with a few chess boards thrown in for the NCOs. The D&D players have their own dice and paper.

The men in the field are resourceful. I’m sure they can find a way to trade the Parcheesi sets for materials to build a still.

I didn’t know “verbing” started so early, turning the noun task into the verb “tasked.” People think they sound smart when they use trendy language.

Everyone is forgetting one “morale booster.” It is the one that had the brother of my high school girlfriend come home with an STD. And he had an addiction also.

With the skills Lt Tripler is displaying, I’m surprised he still isn’t an Ensign. And those Parcheesi sets may have moved his name up several notches on the list of officers most likely to be fragged.

It was mentioned that until the day he lost a leg,B.D. never took his helmet off.But early in the strip’s “VIETNAM DAYS”,he had his helmet autographed by Bob Hope.He must have changed helmets then.He wouldn’t want to risk smearing the ink.

I missed the show at U-Tapao, Thailand, in 1970; one of the places from whence the B-52 bombers came, because I had to work on the flightline. I am told the airmen in attendance threw beer-cans at the stage! The rumors of drugs and alcohol fueling the Vietnam War are TRUE! Thai weed and Pabst beer were G.I. diet staples in 1969-70.

Nothing like a morale officer to solve the wrong problem. Even the issue 3.2 brew would help. But he’s a sailor who doesn’t want to make waves.

Lt. Trippy is just putting in his time until a GQP sinecure opens up for him.

Sooner or later, someone in Washington, DC will need a well trained pair of Lips to do some anatomy Kissing.

People will always find a way to get drunk or high. They’ll melt plastic and metal into digestible fluids and dilute it with their own blood if that’s what it takes.

Tripp later served in the Gulf War and was there when Ray was hospitalized.

“Hi-ho, sport! Looks like that’ll keep you off the tennis court for a while!”

OSLT. And Ray wondered if he was still delirious.
