I guess he’s the only one sober enough to drive.

    This doesn’t bode well.

Free range parenting, the kids will always land on their feet, provided they still have them.:D

It’s worse than you think. The truck’s a standard.

    “Get dinner started”

Hey, he’ll eat whatever she cooked for the other two dozen or more people who live under their roof and he’ll LIKE it.

Just wondering – How long will these reruns continue? Is Trudeau effectively retired (except for Sundays)? I’m hoping he’ll get back to the present at some point.

The stop pedal? I don’t know, my foot just reaches out and does it without thinking.

I’m surprised that kid hasn’t learned not only to drive, but to hot-wire the ignition by now. He is Duke’s son…

If the kid keeps experimenting, Duke surely won’t be around long!

I’m very surprised Duke is doing this. That is a rural and small town tradition. Kid sits on dad’s lap and works the pedals by way of dad’s feet.

Earl will make it home for dinner if he can see through the steering wheel and over the dash like my old neighbor. The left turn signal is always on and the seatbelt is dragging on the pavement however . . . .but remembers the way back home without GPS.

Notice that Duke’s phone has a cord. It’s not a cell phone, it’s a car phone. Anyone else remember those? ;-)
