Some of president Donald Trump’s advisers, including Rudy Giuliani, the onetime federal prosecutor whose criminal investigation led to Milken’s conviction, were urging Trump to pardon Milken.

Of course, the figures given in this 1993 comic strip are somewhat out of date. “With an estimated net worth of around $3.7 billion as of 2018, he is ranked by Forbes magazine as the 606th richest person in the world.” Oh, and it is said that he gives a lot to charity. Isn’t that just so sweet?

When a poor man robs a rich man with a gun, that’s crime. When a rich man robs a poor man with a pen, that’s business.

The former gets 10-20 years, sometimes because the kids are hungry and the latter, a greedy sleazeball, gets 10-20 months in a camp. Liberty and justice for all who can afford it.
