The Donald would use a different term than “rat-hole”.

When Duke says he “won’t stand for it”, do you think he means people living under the conditions described? Or the riots calling attention to it?

Another reason America needs to quit getting involved in other countries affairs. Let them handle their own problems. Quit sending our money and jobs overseas. We would have plenty of money for helping vets if we didn’t give it away to others. People whine about how bad it still is in Puerto Rico and how we need to do more. Why? They were in terrible shape before the storm yet some feel we have an obligation to make them better than they have ever been. Horse feathers! We need to start taking care of ourselves instead of letting everybody else take what we have worked for and then whine how it isn’t enough. Quit spending money and American lives on people that turn into our enemies.

Americans to other countries: “INGRATES!! Don’t you know how much it COST for all those bombs we dropped on your country?!?”

Uh, no. The Screaming Eagles are the 101st Airborne (Air Assault) – no parachutes. It was the 82nd Airborne, so they can call it “All American Estates” after their nickname.

Lee Dawson still regrets the US involvement over that incident in Pearl Harbor many years ago.

Parachutes make pretty good tents – we should charge them for all the tenting material we left behind!

Of course you know that the “drug lord” (Manuel Noriega) was our man of the CIA and chosen to run Panama until he was touched by nationalism and turned renegade. The illegal drug for sale was a fine conduit for acquiring $$$$ for their black bag ops. So his people were murdered and replaced by one like him, but not him, who was a good puppet. He got to rot in prison for years. (Nationalism is the bane of US world makers. That and the blue on green attacks. Locals trained in the military by us then turn on their masters [us]).

Where are the grammar police? “In the absence of no aid…” sure sounds like a double negative.

Excuse me ? Is not Puerto Rico our territory? Are we not obligated to save them? Not Is not Puerto Rico an American Territory? AS in not like they are another country? They are Americans ! Go back to school !
