I read this strip 14 times and I still don’t recall any of the dialog….

Funny, self-referential and self-mocking.

Let’s hear it for comic sweeps week. (Could we make that a month?)

I read this strip for the “articles”!

Assuming she was sunbathing topless to avoid those unsightly tan lines, why did she put her top back on and then stay out in the sun?

Well, I never read the reruns, and I read this one.

Reminds me of the “sweeps week” episode of Excel Saga, which just so happens to take place at a pool patronized only by women (though some of those women and girls are wearing non-swimming outfits that some men like to look at.)

I seemed to have missed this arc when it originally was printed. My bad !

This is funny to me, on so many levels – it would take too much space to explain why.

Well, for a change we have intelligent conversation from attractive women. What a concept! In related news, I read that mens’ intelligence goers down (measurably) after seeing images of sexy women. Wonder what the evolutionary advantage of that is…?

My favourite issue of that sporting magazine is the one with all the letters about the swimsuit issue. Especially the scandalised middle school librarians.

This is a great comic today (they all are, but this one is exceptional.) But you commenters are absolutely cracking me up with funny lines! Very clever!

Gary must’ve resorted to this sort of thing back when Doonesbury’s ratings got low. Too bad the ratings doesn’t get low any more…
