I was dissapointed that a search on YouTube for the referenced video (animated, of course), came up empty. It would have been cool if Trudeau had posted a short video of the birth (drawn from a discreet angle) .

Childbirth is between the parents, everyone should clear out and leave them alone .

It is surprising how many other folks often want to be in the delivery room besides medical personnel and the parents.

Who in the delivery room was saying “Push, J.J.! Push!”? It couldn’t have been Mike. He was at B.D. and Boopsie’s house, watching it on TV.

This had me laughing so hard! So apparently someone watching it on “Channel Z” in 1988 recorded it, and he’s had the tape lying around all these years until YouTube came along! XD XD XD

I can’t truthfully say that my first wife was like JJ, but I can truthfully say that there are similarities.

I can’t believe I’ve read through an entire day’s Doonesbury comments and there hasn’t been a single political rant. Let’s pat ourselves on our respective backs.

You know, when J.J. was first introduced into the strip and met Mike, she was a nice sorta cool girl. She later morphed into the present J.J. Too bad.

Doesn’t want to be “Grandma”, does want the whole world to witness the births. Whose births? “Oh, some girl I know.”
