Man: I don't mind the pomp...but I sure could do without the circumstance. You are a unique generation. You have grown up in front of screens, saturated in popular culture....mesmerized by a world of fantasy, where entertainment is a national obsession and even "reality" is staged. Let me illustrate. How many of you are planning to enter the business world or go to law, medical or grad school? Show of hands. Good. Impressive. We're proud of you. Okay, now how many of you would abandon your plans in a heartbeat for the chance to move to California and write for "Family Guy"? Student: What's your problem? Student 2: I'm scared of earthquakes.
