Burl’s signature would be priceless…
I won’t even buy a book in a used book store or thrift store if the previous reader has written in it in any way. That’s like a kid drawing on a wall with crayon. Cheapens it, big time.
must be Ma’s “B” Day… any excuse to get a cake…!
“Found it” means they were in a neighborhood where someone had one of those front yard “little lending libraries”, and they made off with it.
In a moment, they’ll start in on the cake. It will be like a scene on Nature where the lion pride parts out a gazelle. Before the party, Burl used a tape measure to determine which section had the most icing letters on it.
Why and what did they sign it with? The authors name???
They can write?
If you know it decreases the value why sign it
“River Dancing On Ice”. I’d buy a front row ticket to see that. As long as it’s not next to where Burl is sitting.
A paperback probably wouldn’t be worth much at auction anyway.
